Provider Team
Karina M. Peterson, MD
Located at the Milwaukee Mutual Health Center
Dr. Peterson is a board-certified, family practice physician. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her residency in family practice at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital. With over 20 years of experience, she has provided primary care, hospital inpatient and outpatient care, as well as obstetrical care. Currently, as a family physician, she loves to provide comprehensive care for the whole family. She is also boarded in lifestyle medicine and believes strongly that our lifestyle – diet, exercise, sleep and stress management are important drivers of our overall health. Dr. Peterson enjoys partnering with members to help prevent and control chronic disease and promote a healthy, happy life.
Thomas Gahl, MD
Located at Franklin Mutual Health Center
Dr. Gahl is a board-certified family physician. He is a graduate of Boston College, where he studied Biology and Philosophy. He went on to attend the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. He enjoys working with patients in order to help them achieve happy and healthy lives. Dr. Gahl sees acute, same day visits and manages many chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, anxiety, depression, allergies, asthma, and more. He is also proficient in minor dermatologic procedures such as cyst and lipoma removals, and he performs injections for musculoskeletal complaints.
Jennifer Reed, MD
Located at the Franklin Mutual Health Center
Dr. Reed is a board-certified family physician. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where she studied Biology. She went on to attend the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and completed her training with the St. Joseph Family Medicine Residency Program, serving as Chief Resident. Dr. Reed believes in a cooperative approach to the doctor-member relationship. She listens to members in order to discuss the benefits and risks of treatments. This develops a relationship of respect, which allows her to work together with members to improve their health and quality of life. She performs Nexplanon and IUD placements, toenail removals, joint injections, minor skin procedures, and suturing of wounds.
Sijia Wu, MD
Located at the Milwaukee Mutual Health Center
Dr. Wu is a board-certified family physician. She is a graduate of the University of Utah, where she studied Biology. She went on to attend the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of California in Riverside. She is a proponent of lifestyle medicine and meeting the patient's needs with individualized approaches to treating acute or chronic conditions. She performs Nexplanon and IUD placements, joint injections, minor skin procedures, and suturing of wounds.
Kim Wesling, MS, ANP-BC
Located at the Milwaukee Mutual Health Center
Kim earned her BSN degree from Marquette University and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Boston College. She went on to work as a nurse practitioner for the Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group, Women’s Specialty Services, Aurora Health Care and Family Doctors, S.C. In addition to working as a nurse, she has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Wisconsin’s College of Nursing in Milwaukee. Kim has been with the Mutual Health Center since it opened in 2009. She takes the time to listen to the members and their specific needs. Kim likes to give members options and allow them to take an active role in decisions about their care. Together, she believes they can come up with the best options suited for each individual.
Jennifer Neubauer, RN, FNP-C, APNP

Jennifer is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin and her Master of Science in Nursing from Concordia University. She previously worked for the Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group, the Medical College of Wisconsin, as well as Columbia St. Mary’s Family Health Center. Jennifer believes that health and wellness are an integral part of a person’s well-being. She works in partnership with members to maintain optimal health through wellness education, disease prevention and management of chronic and acute illness. She strives to provide high quality, individualized and patient-focused care. She performs joint injections as well as minor skin procedures.
Soralda Polanco, DNP, FNP-BC
Located at the New York Mutual Health Center
Soralda is a proud New Yorker from Queens. Her nursing career began with a BSN at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. She worked many years at the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation caring for patients that had terminal cancer and renal failure. She attended SUNY Downstate where she earned an MSN degree in Family Health and eventually, an advanced certification degree in Women’s Health. She earned her degree in Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wilkes University.
With 14 years of experience, her preventive health mission was driven throughout NYC hospitals, community health clinics, school health services, department of health, home care and corporate health centers. In any health care setting, Soralda takes immense pride in helping patients be their own health advocate.
Nicole Knapp, BSN, RN
Located at the Milwaukee and Franklin Mutual Health Centers
Nicole obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2006 from Carroll University. She worked in the hospital setting as a floor nurse before transitioning to working in dermatology where she educated patients on numerous skin conditions, skin cancers, and assisted with surgeries. In 2010, she began working in Internal Medicine doing triage and patient teaching where she stayed for 13 years. During that time, she fell into the world of coaching, helping clients pursue their vision of wellness and drafting plans to improve their overall wellbeing. Her work within the health center blends the two things she’s enjoyed most in her career – getting to know and educate patients, and coaching.
Nicole sees an incredible need for patients to attain more health knowledge and a shift to do things differently in healthcare by looking at the person as a whole and not just a condition. She feels that by listening to patients, you can find the keys to their own success. She works with patients to draft their health plan so that they can build sustainable and realistic goals for better outcomes, better health, and ultimately a more fulfilling life.
Caylee Kennedy, LPC, MS, NCC

Caylee Kennedy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. She received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Post Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Mount Mary University. She has had years of experience specializing in anxiety, depression and trauma through providing compassionate, client-centered therapy. She is committed to assisting individuals in navigating through life's challenges through a supportive and non-judgmental approach. She believes in empowering individuals through collaboratively developing healthier coping strategies and fostering personal growth. Caylee utilizes multiple evidence based therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques to tailor treatment to each individual's needs.
Jenna Radowski, ATR, LPC

Jenna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. She received her Master of Science in Art Therapy with an emphasis in Counseling from Mount Mary College. Jenna has worked as a clinical therapist for the last 10 years in a variety of settings including outpatient.
Jenna is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment in order to help individuals meet their own goals. She utilizes a collaborative strengths-based approach to promote personal well-being.
Physical Therapy Team
John Liddell, ATC, DPT, OCS
Located at the Milwaukee Mutual Health Center
John is a graduate of Marquette University where he earned his B.S. in Athletic Training and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He later completed orthopedic residency training with SPTE based in Lacrosse, WI and earned the designation of Orthopedic Certified Specialist. He has training in blood flow restriction, dry needling, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization.
John believes that the rehab process is collaborative and the person comes first. Together you can create a plan to get you back to the activities you enjoy.
Sara Ljubic, PT, DPT, ATC
Located at the Franklin Mutual Health Center
Sara graduated from Marquette University where she earned her B.S. in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer and has received additional training in Integrative Dry Needling and Women’s Health. Sara believes that movement is the best medicine and achieving healthy movement must be done through an individualized treatment plan. By taking into account each individual’s unique physical challenges, she is able to effectively address their concerns and achieve healthy function.
Cassie Kohlhapp PT, DPT
Located at the Milwaukee Mutual Health Center
Cassie is a graduate of Carroll University, where she earned her B.S. degree in Exercise Science and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Cassie believes in a treatment approach that is collaborative and holistic. By using various treatment techniques, including exercise, movement retraining, manual therapy, and dry needling techniques she is able to create a unique treatment plan based on the needs of the individual. She believes in the practice of not only working to rehabilitate the specific problem an individual presents with, but to also teach strategies for independent symptom management and future injury prevention for overall well-being.
Meg Gogin, PT, MPT
Located at the Milwaukee Mutual Health Center
Meg earned her BS in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from Indiana University, and her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She has additional training in dry needling, specialized manual therapy techniques, functional movement, and conservative management of scoliosis. Her career has been primarily in a private practice outpatient orthopedic setting, focusing on care for people of all abilities with spinal/pelvic, hip and shoulder issues. She has had the privilege of helping people achieve their activity related goals through education, hands on techniques, and customized exercise prescription for over 20 years.
Aaron Miller, PT, DPT
Located at the Franklin Mutual Health Center
Aaron earned his B.S. in Neurobiology and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin—Madison, and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities. Aaron utilizes his training in motivational interviewing to understand each person's individual goals, and to focus on progressive activity training and education to help people achieve their highest potential.
Aaron has a special interest working with individuals with jaw and neck pain as well as shoulder, elbow, and leg issues. He applies his training in dry needling to relieve pain and get people back to activity. Aaron has experience working in many different rehabilitation settings to help individuals in different age groups and ability levels reach their goals.
